| Plot Summary: | Strangers from all different walks of life: a limo driver escorting a movie star, parents with a young son, a cop transporting a convict, a prostitute, a young couple, and a motel manager are caught up in a nasty rainstorm, stuck at a motel in desolate Nevada. Soon they realize they may be at the motel for another reason when one by one, people start getting killed off. As tensions flare and fingers are pointed, they have to get to the bottom of why they’re there. | Plot Summary: | Retired FBI agent Will Graham (William L. Petersen) returns to action to hunt down a serial killer by using his ability to get inside the psychopath’s mind. However, it was this ability that drove him into retirement in the first place. The process of tracking and capturing the infamous Hannibal Lecter (Brian Cox) took a tremendous psychic toll on Graham, causing him to spent time in a mental hospital. With another madman on the loose, Graham has no choice but to return to duty, though he knows that it might cost him his family and his sanity.
To get the old mind-set back, Graham visits Hannibal Lecter in his high-security jail cell. However, the manipulative Lecter plays both sides and warns the new killer that Graham is on his trail, telling him to destroy Graham’s family to protect himself. In order to save his own family, Graham must risk everything to once again enter into the mind of the criminally insane. With MANHUNTER, Mann raises the bar for serial killer films, imbuing his killer with an almost sympathetic quality while keeping him extremely menacing and clearly dangerous. Based on the Thomas Harris novel RED DRAGON, which serves as the prequel to THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, MANHUNTER is a masterpiece of gripping storytelling and psychological horror. |

| Plot Summary: | Kevin McAllister and his family are planning to go to Miami, Florida during the holiday season this time around. At the airport, Kevin becomes seperated from his family and ends up on an airplane to New York City. Kevin manages to stop a taxi cab and has the driver take him to the Plaza Hotel, and using his father Peter’s credit card, Kevin rents out a suite. While in New York, Kevin befriends E. F. Duncan, a friendly toy store owner, and Kevin also befriends a homeless Pigeon Woman then Kevin runs into his old enemies Harry and Marv, who have escaped from prison. When Kevin discovers that Harry and Marv plan to rob Mr. Duncan’s toy store on Christmas Eve, Kevin makes plans to stop them. Kevin’s mother Kate, upon realizing that she and the family have become seperated from Kevin, frantically tries to find Kevin. |

| Plot Summary: | Marcus Burnett is a hen-pecked family man. Mike Lowrey is more of a loose cannon. They are partners on the Miami Police Department, and they are about to take on a highly dangerous case. 100 million dollars in heroin, from the biggest drug bust of their careers, is stolen from police headquarters. Now, they have 72 hours to reclaim the heroin before the Internal Affairs Division gets involved. This puts Mike and Marcus hot on the trail of a French drug kingpin named Fouchet. Mike asks Maxine Logan, a hooker he knows, to keep an eye open for high rollers. Later, she gets a call from a guy who’s high on drugs and wants to spend $2000. Maxine asks her best friend Julie Mott to tag along with her to the home of former cop Eddie Dominguez. Julie is not a hooker but the guy’s so out of it that they’ll be out of there with the money in just minutes. But at Dominguez’s house, Fouchet kills Maxine. Julie witnessed the murder, so she contacts the police. But Julie, who doesn’t know what Mike looks like, is willing to talk only to Mike. Mike is not around, so Marcus is forced to pretend to be Mike, and when Mike returns, he’s forced to pretend to be Marcus. Marcus is a family man who has a wife named Theresa (Theresa Randle) and three kids named James (Cory Hodges), Megan (Tiffany Samuels), and Quincy (Scott Cumberbatch), while Mike is not, so this is not a very close fit. Mike and Marcus’s pursuit of Fouchet kicks into overdrive when Fouchet’s henchmen kidnap Julie right out from under their noses. |
